Tracy is rooted in the Pacific Northwest, with a deep and lasting connection to Nordic culture. A first visit to Sweden in 1995 sparked an affinity that continues to shape both her lifestyle and design perspective, with regular returns to Scandinavia over the years.

After earning a BA in Interior Design from Seattle Pacific University, she began her career in a large commercial architecture firm before stepping away to study interior architecture in Copenhagen—an experience that became a pivotal turning point. Returning to Seattle, she shifted her focus toward residential design, with the intention of engaging more fully in the architectural process.

In 2014, she became a Washington State registered Architect. Her work draws from an integrated background in architecture, interior design, and sustainable design, allowing her to approach projects with a comprehensive perspective. This combination ensures her work is thoughtful in concept, respectful of both the environment and the client's needs, and well-rounded in its attention to detail. By blending these disciplines, she creates spaces that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional, sustainable, and deeply aligned with the surrounding environment and the well-being of those who inhabit them.

Sketching, photography, and writing remain ongoing creative practices, continuing to inform her perspective and approach to design.
